Wendy, old and new

The following differences between my Wendy and Wendy Darling of Barrie's Peter Pan.


Mine(Right side)- This Wendy I made was born in 21st century London. She is eleven-years-old, with short black hair, fair skin, blue eyes, wears a lavender, long-sleeve shirt, and white jeans with a blue belt. Unlike the original, Wendy has no romantic interest in Peter, only views him as a good friend. Also, she doesn't tell stories to her brothers or the lost kids. Her hobbies are dancing and writing in her dairy. Her days in Never Land brought out her more tomboyish side, taking part in conflicts with pirates. 

Barrie(left side)- Wendy was born in London in early 1900's. She is 12 going on 13, tall for her age, with long tied-up brown hair, blue eyes and fair skin. She is usually seen wearing a long nightgown. As plotted in the story, Wendy is vividly imaginative, telling stories mostly to her childish kid brothers, but also mature and maternal, aiming to be a mother. It is hinted that Wendy has a romantic interest in Peter as she tries to kiss him once. She at one point feared growing up (particularly the example of it set by her father), but later finds that her experience in Never Land, and Peter's childish idea to make her a "mother" to him and the lost boys, brings out her more adult side and she looks forward to adulthood.
